We are looking for a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join Tiny Hoppers Sherwood Park.
A successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a kind and gentle approach when interacting with children, and the ability to create engaging, creative learning experiences that foster children's development.
Requirements:

Standard First Aid and CPR-C.

Recent Vulnerable Sector Check.

Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of ECEs.

Up-to-date immunization record.

Great communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel.

Must be able to plan and assist with daily program and activities following an emergent curriculum.

Must be able to maintain proper documentation.
-
Food Handlers certificate (preferred).
Responsibilities:
-
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children under 6 that promote physical, cognitive and social development.

Complete daily observations of children and prepare documentation of their learning.

Communicate with families to foster an open and collaborative relationship and actively encouraging their participation in the program.

Assist children with mealtimes, naptime, toileting and dressing.

Work collaboratively with Tiny Hoppers staff.
-
Adhere to Halton Region and Ministry of Education regulations.

Ensure children are engaged in activities, playing safely and having fun.
