HIRING SOLO AND TEAM DRIVERS
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight across regional or national destinations, ensuring timely deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle readiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatchers
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying cargo accuracy
- Follow company policies on safety procedures and operational protocols during all phases of transportation
Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in long-haul trucking or freight transportation preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous
- Experience with freight management systems and route planning is beneficial
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
