Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and experienced site labourer to join our team on an active commercial construction project at 600 Sundial Drive, Orillia. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to someone who takes pride in keeping a jobsite running safely and efficiently.
Duties
- General site labour including loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Site cleanup and maintaining a safe, organized work environment
- Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with tasks as directed
- Operating basic hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Operating site machinery such as skid steers, forklifts, or compact excavators as needed
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and site policies
- Erecting and dismantling temporary structures, fencing, and hoarding as required
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction site labour
- Experience operating common site machinery (skid steer, forklift, mini excavator, or similar)
- Valid equipment operator certifications an asset (e.g. forklift licence)
- Valid Working at Heights certification (asset)
- WHMIS training and current First Aid/CPR certification (asset)
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to the Orillia project site
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team
