About Mint Asset Management
Mint Asset Management is a growing Canadian property management company serving multi-residential properties, condominium corporations, and commercial real estate properties across the GTA.
We work with landlords, condominium boards, developers, private investors, and commercial property owners to improve operations, support tenants and residents, strengthen reporting, and protect long-term asset value.
We are looking for a motivated and well-connected Business Development Manager to help grow our property management portfolio.
About the Role
This is a business development and relationship-building role focused on generating new property management opportunities. The successful candidate will identify, approach, and build relationships with condominium board members, landlords of multi-residential apartment buildings, commercial property owners, developers, investors, and other real estate decision-makers.
Your main responsibility will be to bring new properties into Mint’s management portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, professional, self-motivated, and comfortable networking, making calls, attending events, and building long-term relationships in the real estate and condominium sectors.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new property management opportunities across the GTA
- Connect with condominium board members, landlords, commercial property owners, developers, and real estate investors
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and referral partners
- Attend networking events, industry meetings, and local business events where appropriate
- Introduce Mint’s services to prospective clients in a professional and clear manner
- Coordinate meetings between potential clients and Mint’s leadership team
- Follow up with leads and maintain ongoing communication with prospects
- Support proposal opportunities and help move prospects through the sales process
- Build relationships with lawyers, accountants, brokers, developers, trades, and other referral sources
- Track outreach activity, leads, follow-ups, and opportunities
Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, board members, landlords, and real estate professionals
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experience in sales, business development, real estate, property management, condominium management, leasing, or related industries is an asset
- Existing network in real estate, condominium, construction, trades, finance, or local business community is an asset
- Professional, organized, and persistent
- Comfortable with cold outreach, warm introductions, networking, and follow-up
- Access to a vehicle is preferred, as meetings and events may take place across the GTA
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with generous compensation for every property successfully brought into Mint’s management portfolio.
Commission will be based on successful signed management agreements and may vary depending on the size and type of property. Approved business development expenses may be covered, including certain networking, travel, or client meeting expenses, subject to prior approval.
