Summerhill Pyramid Winery is a 35,000+ case Organic winery producing sparkling, white, rose, red, Late Harvest and Icewine located in Kelowna, BC.
We are looking for Harvest Cellar Hands to join our team for the 2026 harvest. This position is a temporary (September 1- November 30) position, with extended hours during harvest. This position may have the opportunity to become permanent. Candidates must have a valid Canada working VISA. This position reports to the winemaker.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Racking, filtering, bottling, labeling, barrel work, disgorging, cleaning, crush work, more cleaning, icewine, lab work, additions, ect.
- All other tasks and duties related to being a cellar hand.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
- Ability to meet physical demands of position including lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, working outside in varying weather conditions, and comfortable with heights
- Punctual and ability to get oneself to work
- Must be able to work long and flexible hours
Can be an asset:
- Diploma or Degree in wine related field.
- Cellar Experience
- Forklift experience
- Able to work nights
- Confined space training
- OSHA approved First Aid any level
- Lab experience
- Organic and Biodynamic winemaking experience
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
