KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for the day to day operation of the Housekeeping Department
· Assist in assigning daily Houseman tasks and weekly projects
· Review all work and ensure all Houseman tasks and projects are completed properly
· Daily walk through of building including all stairwells, the Deck and parking lots
· Coordinate pick ups with Laundry & Drycleaners
· Weekly supply inventory
· Manage the organization and cleanliness of the office, supplies and storage rooms
· Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of unoccupied rooms
· Occasional cleaning of guest rooms
· Assist with the schedule
· Handle Room Assignments
· Inspect the work of the Housekeeping team and coach as required
· Ensure all aspects of the rooms are in working order
· Run and check Housekeeping reports
· Report all maintenance deficiencies in rooms and surrounding areas
· Handle all guest inquiries
· Adhoc projects as assigned
· Collaborate with your team and other departments to provide an experience that supports the hotel’s overall goals
· Observe and follow the established Emergency, Fire and Health & Safety policies
ARE YOU QUALIFIED?
· You have 2-3 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
· You have excellent knowledge of the Housekeeping Department
· You have thorough training as a Room Attendant and a Houseperson
· You are able to coach team members in a positive fashion
· You must be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25lbs
· You have excellent interpersonal, communication and guest service skills
· You are highly organized with a strong attention to detail
· You are available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
