Torcan Lift Equipment is seeking to hire a full time, permanent Aerial Equipment Road Service Technician / Mechanic. Our team is looking for a driven, independent, and knowledgeable individual who is ready to grow and excel in their career!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aerial Equipment Road Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection and repair of aerial lift equipment, ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aerial lift equipment to ensure safety compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on various types of aerial lifts specifically Genie, JLG, Skyjack, Sinoboom.
- Routine Maintenance: Carry out regular maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
- Travel: Travel to different job sites to service equipment using a company-provided service truck.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with hydraulics, electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in heavy equipment maintenance are preferred.
- Tools Proficiency: Ability to use a variety of hand tools and read technical diagrams and parts manuals.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
