Must be an academic tutor holding a university degree or working toward one, with a proven track record of teaching students through to Grade 12.
If you like to inspire students, then we want you on our team! You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the academic tools to teach at our center. As a successful Instructor, you will teach Sylvan programs, assist with homework, interact with and motivate students, evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to directors. We currently have specific needs for teachers for Math in Oakville, and all passionate educators are encouraged to apply. You will inspire students by developing a rapport with them and establishing a fun learning environment, maintaining a positive attitude, and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and for Sylvan.
This is a part-time position starting with two to three shifts per week. Flexible shifts are available. Our instructional hours are 4pm- 8pm on weekdays, and 10am-1pm on Saturdays
