Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Back of House Staff to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high-quality food service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to food safety standards. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Support cooking processes, including basic food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in high volume food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a must!!
- At least 3 years experience in a high volume environment
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety is desirable
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
