What You’ll Do (Varies by Position)
- Work safely and efficiently on Rail Right of Way.
- Manage rail traffic and safety by pulling Rule 42s and taking TOPs (Foreman).
- Operate specialized Hi-Rail and heavy equipment, including boom trucks, gravel trucks, mini-excavators, and skid steers (Operators).
- Perform trenching, digging, hauling, and manual labour as required.
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and pre-trip safety inspections.
What You Bring to the Team
- Credentials: Valid CROR certification and E-Rail Safe qualified as required by position.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of rail experience (Preference will be given to candidates with Class 1 railroad experience).
- Driver's License: Minimum Class 5 license (higher classes are an asset and may be required for operators).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating schedule and travel out of town for projects.
- Safety-First Mindset: Ability to pass a criminal record check and commit to strict daily safety protocols.
