Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in commercial spaces.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct facilities maintenance activities to ensure all areas are well-kept and functional.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning duties within designated timeframes.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests and addressing concerns from facility occupants.
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment or materials as required during cleaning operations.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning agents and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and any issues encountered.
Experience
- Previous custodial experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while performing multiple tasks.
