The Opportunity
Are you ready to build a career in the trades? New Edge Electrical and Plumbing is looking for a motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside experienced journeymen and foremen on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial sites — gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills to advance your career in the electrical trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical installations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Rough-in suites and assist with installation of panels, lighting, conduit, and distribution systems
- Bend and install EMT and PVC conduit
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Work hands-on with standard electrical tools and equipment
- Support journeymen and foremen to keep projects on schedule and to standard
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times
Requirements
- Registered as a 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice with Skilled Trades BC (minimum 1,960 hours)
- Hands-on experience with standard electrical tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow electrical drawings
- Physically capable of performing construction tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work
- Canadian work permit or valid Canadian residency
