Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing appointment scheduling, patient records, and administrative tasks.
This role requires a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills. . Prior experience with electronic medical records and dental software is encouraged but we will train. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage appointment scheduling using Abeldent and Recall Max
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately
- Maintain and update patient records in electronic medical records.
- Answering phone systems promptly, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately
- Prepare and organize patient charts, forms, and documentation for upcoming appointments
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist with administrative duties including filing, faxing, and data entry using office experience skills
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
Skills
- Experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting is encouraged but not mandatory,
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and patient information
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor to create a positive patient experience
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
