About the Role
As our Estimator, you will play a key role in securing and planning commercial construction projects ranging from renovations and tenant improvements to larger institutional and commercial developments.
You will work closely with ownership, project management, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants throughout the tendering and pre-construction process.

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates, proposals and bid submissions
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
- Coordinate with project managers and field staff during pre-construction
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project planning
- Build and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Participate in tender closings, bid reviews, and project handoffs
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial construction estimating
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Experience with tendering and bid management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient with estimating software, Excel, and construction management tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Gold Seal, Engineering, Construction Management, or trade background is an asset

Pay: $71,858.30-$104,903.80 per year
