The Poke Guy seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Take and serve customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle food preparation and serving, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Provide outstanding guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food industry operations including basic food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support when needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times, including proper storage and handling of food products
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, with knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
