Growing industrial manufacturer is looking for a CFO. This person will lead the financial operations of a manufacturing organization. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. This executive role requires a comprehensive understanding of corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific financial practices. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring fiscal integrity across the organization. They will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives within the manufacturing sector.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead risk management initiatives by conducting thorough risk analysis and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize working capital.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense control, cost management, and cost accounting activities to enhance profitability.
- Oversee revenue management cycles, including revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
- Lead mergers and acquisitions activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and COSO frameworks to maintain internal control integrity.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders; interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends through market analysis to inform strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Oversee payroll management, tax accounting, governmental accounting requirements, and supply chain cost controls.
- Foster leadership within the finance team through supervision, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
Skills
- Extensive experience in financial management within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, SOX compliance, COSO frameworks.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance including mergers & acquisitions, business development, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced financial modeling tools.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports and conduct risk analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising finance teams at senior levels.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong business acumen for revenue cycle management and cost control.
- Deep understanding of governmental accounting standards and supply chain-related cost analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly across diverse audiences globally.
