Apex Industries is currently recruiting a
Manufacturing Manager to join our
Northridge Stone group. The Manufacturing manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of the stone-manufacturing facility, under the direction of a general manager or other senior managers.
Job duties
The following identifies main activities and tasks associated with the Manufacturing Manager Role;

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the stone-manufacturing facility.

Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor and equipment to meet production targets.

Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget.

Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products based on agreed inventory levels.

Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.

Direct quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures.

Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.

Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
Qualifications & Experience-
Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
- Experience managing teams and driving production targets in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
