Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling, serving, and delivering orders efficiently to ensure timely service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience with cashiering, serving, or food industry roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates
