The Role
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team to cover an upcoming maternity leave. This role includes a transition period working alongside our current RVT, with the opportunity to take on full responsibilities during her leave.
There is potential for this position to become permanent depending on clinic needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarian with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
Monitor anesthesia and support surgical cases
Perform laboratory testing and diagnostics
Provide compassionate patient care and handling
Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventative care
Support clinic workflow and team collaboration
What We’re Looking For
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT*) in good standing in Ontario (or recent graduates in process of becoming registered)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently in a small clinic setting
Adaptability and a positive attitude

Additional Details
option toThis position will begin with a transition and training period alongside our current RVT. As the maternity leave approaches, responsibilities will gradually shift to support a smooth handover of duties. The position would begin in September, ideally with ability to start training sooner.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
