About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, creative, and fast-moving Digital Content Creator to completely take over our Facebook Marketplace presence and build a thriving local online community. This is not a dry "data entry" or back-office marketing job. You will be out on the lot, on camera, creating engaging video tours, and building real-time human connections with buyers across Vancouver Island.
Your main goal? Use high-impact social media content to turn online casual scrollers into physical, breathing customers walking through our showroom doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Facebook Marketplace: Write compelling, accurate listings for our inventory and keep our listings optimized, active, and highly visible.
- Video First Content Creation: Produce energetic, informative vertical videos (Reels/TikTok style) highlighting new arrivals, hidden features, and layout walkthroughs of our truck campers and motorhomes.
- Personalized Video Responses: When a lead inquires on Marketplace, you won't just reply with a text template. You will grab your phone, walk out to that specific unit, film a personalized video answering their question ("Hey John, here is a quick look at that kitchen counter space you asked about!"), and text/message it to them.
- Community Cultivation: Engage daily with regional Facebook Marketplace Groups, overland networks, and local camping communities. Build and moderate our dealership's private Facebook group to foster long-term loyalty and repeat business.
- Appointment Setting: Guide digital conversations toward a firm on-lot appointment, ensuring customers know exactly who to ask for when they arrive.
What We Are Looking For
- On-Camera Confidence: You are comfortable being the "face" of our digital listings and can deliver a warm, friendly, and authentic vibe on video.
- Strong Video Editing Basics: Fluent in quick smartphone editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Instagram/Facebook native editors) to make content look sharp and fast-paced.
- Hustle & Speed: Facebook Marketplace moves fast. You must be eager to respond to messages quickly and enthusiastically throughout the day.
- Local & Reliable: You love the West Coast lifestyle, can navigate a busy dealership lot safely, and are excited to work directly with our in-store sales team. (Previous RV knowledge is an asset, but we will train the right digital talent).

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
