Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, operating light equipment, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling to support construction activities
- Operate construction machinery like breakers and saws
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks including digging, cutting, drilling, and assembling construction components
- Perform excavation work like trenching and grading
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
Qualifications
- On the job training provided, prior experience in landscaping or similar industry beneficial
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to various jobsite required
