We are looking for someone that can grow and adapt to the ever changing repair industry. We are a few short weeks away from moving into a new dealership with a state of the art Bodyshop. We have outgrown our location and ready to take our shop to the next level and looking for techs to add to the team.
As an Auto Body Technician you are responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-loss condition, ensuring that repairs are performed as per the manufacturer and to customer standards. Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding and sanding
- Replace or repair damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, doors and quarter panels
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the shop
- Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to auto body work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
- Previous experience working in a auto body shop is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
