YOUTH IN TRANSITION FACILITATOR
for the Sudbury office

Full Time Contract – 1 Year
35 hours/week
Salary range: $30.02 to $45.12 per hour

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing group-based and individual functional living skills programming to youth with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, the Youth in Transition (YIT) Facilitator will work with youth to identify goals for adulthood and develop a plan to achieve these goals. This facilitator will primarily work with youth between the ages of 14 and 18 years.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences or helping professions, have a minimum of three years’ work experience with children and youth with developmental disabilities. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are further requirements for this position. Bilingualism is required.
A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and current insurance are required as travel throughout the assigned area may be expected. The successful candidate must provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
