Part time position now available for an Optometric Receptionist/Technician required in busy downtown Lethbridge optometry clinic as of Sept 1, 2026. Weekly schedule would consist of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in:
- operation of fundus camera and Zeiss Cirrus OCT
- utilizing Visual Eyes optometric software
- triaging common ocular conditions over the phone
- training patients for first time contact lens wear
- operation of POS (Debit/Credit Card) machine
- extending courtesy to patients both in person and on the phone
- capacity to multitask efficiently and cheerfully in a close knit team environment
Salary will commence at the negotiated rate upon start of on the job training/orientation. Candidates with experience in an optometric clinic will be given highest consideration, more so if they have experience using Visual Eyes
