Casey Realty Limited is seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter to join our team in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
Job Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and filling holes
- Apply paint, stain, primer, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding areas before painting
- Mix and match paint colours as required
- Complete interior and exterior painting work
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Perform other related construction duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous painting or construction experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting materials
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
