Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to uphold environmental standards
- Ensure all dishware is stored correctly to prevent damage and facilitate easy access for staff
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or hotel setting can be advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks with energy and efficiency
