AZ Truck Driver - Afternoon Shift (Local Route)

Our client is a family-owned Ontario company and an industry leader in municipal, industrial, and agricultural wastewater solutions. They are currently looking for a dependable AZ Truck Driver to join their team on a dedicated afternoon shift.
This position offers consistent local work with no overnight travel. You'll operate a well-maintained tractor-trailer, travelling between Brantford and Toronto, safely transporting loads while enjoying the stability of a regular route.

$30.00 per hour
Shift:
Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Be Doing

Safely operate a Class AZ tractor-trailer on a dedicated local route between Brantford and Toronto

Transport loads safely and efficiently while following all MTO regulations

Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Record inspections, hours of service, and load information using an electronic logging system

Hook and unhook hoses and equipment as required (minimal physical labour)

Ensure loads are delivered safely and on schedule

Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and report any maintenance concerns

Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures

Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and team members
What We're Looking For

Valid Ontario Class AZ Driver's Licence

Minimum2 years of AZ driving experience

Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract

Strong knowledge of MTO regulations and safe driving practices

Comfortable using electronic logs and mobile technology

Tanker and B-Train experience is considered an asset, but not required

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Strong communication skills and professional attitude

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
