Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Café Attendant.
This role combines the responsibilities of food preparation and providing excellent service in our on-site café.
The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, and personable, capable of managing café operations.
Start can be immediate.
Key Responsibilities:
Café Attendant:
- Open and close the café according to scheduled hours (Breakfast Service). Working hours 7.30am-11.30am, opening hours for service are 8:30-11am.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
- Prepare and assemble food and beverage orders, including making smoothies.
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, following health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Communicate daily to owners regarding what supplies need to be purchased before they are out.
Qualifications:
- Food Safe Certificate or ability to complete course before commencing work (this can be done online).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours during morning and daytime shifts. - Physical ability to perform tasks and manage café duties effectively.
Additional Information: - The position is seasonal, concluding on October 1, 2027, with potential for rehire in May 2027.
- Training will be provided for specific tasks and responsibilities.

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $16.00 per hour
