Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-net-worth family in a private residence. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and service-driven, with strong leadership skills and a diligent approach to maintaining high standards. This role requires managing staff, coordinating vendors, and ensuring the home and additional properties run smoothly and efficiently at all times.
Compensation: $75,000 – 85,000
Position: Permanent
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Flexibility in hours is ideal.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of household management to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
- Supervise, train, and onboard housekeeping staff, including setting routines, schedules, and performance expectations
- Perform and oversee general housekeeping duties, including detailed cleaning and care of fine items such as silverware
- Manage the hiring, coordination, and supervision of household staff, vendors, and external contractors
- Schedule and manage household calendars, appointments, and service bookings
- Perform additional cleaning and preparation for special occasions, events, and celebrations
- Run household errands, including grocery shopping and sourcing supplies
- Oversee and maintain additional properties to ensure consistent standards across all residences
- Travel with the family as required to provide household support
- Provide exemplary table service, including formal table setting, meal service, and adherence to proper service styles and etiquette
- Assist with light meal preparation and provide support to the Chef as needed
- Oversee laundry and wardrobe management, including supervision of staff responsible for linens and fine fabrics, as well as garment care such as ironing, pressing, dry cleaning, and storage
- Perform valet duties, including wardrobe organization, packing and unpacking, inventory management, and care of clothing and shoes
- Maintain household inventory and manage purchasing of supplies and provisions
- Coordinate and supervise tradespeople and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and projects
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and organization of key areas including the garage and utility spaces
- Oversee car maintenance, cleaning, and general care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, surrounding property, and boulevard
- Provide attentive pet care, including daily care for the family dog
- Execute all responsibilities with discretion, professionalism, and a positive, service-oriented demeanor
- Perform additional duties as required to support the household
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional management experience in a high-end private residence environment, such as House Manager, Estate Manager, or Private Residence Manager roles
- Experience working with a high-net-worth family
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail with a diligent, thorough approach to all tasks
- Experience managing budgets and household finances
- Ability to anticipate needs and problem-solve proactively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong leadership and staff management abilities
- Valid driver’s license
