Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle inspections, report findings to the Shop Manager, and record findings on work orders
- Use electronic diagnostic equipment to support troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Perform engine repairs
- Perform transmission repairs
- Complete brake replacements
- Carry out exhaust repairs
- Replace wheel bearings
- Remove, repair, balance, and replace tires
- Perform suspension work
- Adjust alignments and suspensions
- Complete oil, filter, and fluid changes
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proven automotive repair ability across a wide range of service areas
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math, read gauges, and interpret diagnostic equipment readouts
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions is considered an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Experience:
- Automotive repair: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Red Seal Certification in Automotive Repair (required)
