Overview
MaxMobility Physio & Wellness is a Physiotherapist-owned interdisciplinary community rehab clinic.
We currently provide high quality Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy services in the West Hill region of Scarborough, Ontario, located at the intersection of Morningside Ave and Lawrence Ave East.
We work inside a Medical Clinic and work closely and collaboratively with the medical staff to complete the circle of care to all of our patients and ensure their goals and needs are met. We accept patients who pay privately, have Extended Health Benefits or have MVA and WSIB claims.
These are the shifts we are looking for in the candidate
Tuesday: 12pm to 7pm
Thursday: 12pm to 7pm
Saturdays weekly or biweekly: 9am to 2pm
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, flexibility, balance and mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license or registration to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and patient care protocols.
- Experience in a community setting is preferred.
- Experience with WSIB, MVA patients is an asset.
- Post-graduate education (e.g. McKenzie Method, Mulligan's Concept, Manual Therapy, Acupuncture) is an asset.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$80.00 per hour
