We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Receptionist to join our team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Answer phone calls using proper phone etiquette and assist with inquiries
- Manage guest seating arrangements and waitlist management using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks related to guest services and reservations
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with serving or other hospitality duties as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service preferred
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service best practices
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
