Atlantic Grocery Distributors, one of Newfoundland and Labrador's fastest growing companies, is now hiring! Looking for a challenge? Experience is an asset, but not necessary! We are currently hiring a Delivery Driver Helper in the St. John’s area.
What You Will Do:
- Help driver deliver products to customers in safe and timely manner
- Check off all customer orders at time of delivery
- Complete all paperwork and return to office at day's end
- Complete daily log sheet
- Communicate with Supervisor of any questions/issues/problems endured
- Spot the driver when backing into areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
- Strong work ethic
- Self-starter and positive attitude
- Steel-toed boots required
- Clean certificate of conduct
- Time management, organization, excellent focus, attention to detail
- Conduct business in a professional and courteous manner and attitude
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Work as a team member by interacting and communicating in a cooperative manner
- Demonstrated regular attendance
- Shift flexibility required
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Must have the ability to stand, walk and / or move about for extended periods of time
