Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Voluntary Workers to support our community initiatives. Duties
- Assist customers with product information and demonstrations, including technical sales and upselling techniques
- Support merchandising efforts to ensure displays are attractive and organized
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and cashiering tasks
- Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, phone etiquette, and friendly interactions
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods
- Maintain organizational skills to keep the retail space clean, stocked, and welcoming
- Support sales initiatives by engaging customers in retail sales activities and promoting products or services
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (English required) are highly desirable
- Experience or interest in technology sales, retail sales, or merchandising is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment with positive attitude and professionalism
- Previous experience with cashiering, upselling, or technical product demos is advantageous but not required
- Passion for community service, willingness to learn new skills, and a proactive approach to assisting others
