We are seeking a dedicated Farm Assistant to support daily operations on our agricultural property. This role involves hands-on work in crop maintenance, equipment operation, and general farm tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and farm infrastructure
- Use hand tools for various tasks such as pruning, planting, and soil preparation
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce as needed
- Support general farm chores including cleaning, organizing storage areas, and preparing fields for planting
- Follow safety protocols when working with heavy equipment and power tools to prevent accidents
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs of farm machinery
- Experience with irrigation systems and water management techniques
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to assist with crop care and planting procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently

Pay: $16.17-$29.33 per hour
