Our dental office located in the Bloor West Village community is a welcoming, patient-centred dental practice in the heart of Toronto. We are committed to providing exceptional care in a warm and professional environment. We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a positive patient experience while supporting our dentists in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Chair-side assisting during dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and hygiene appointments
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms
- Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintaining accurate patient records and charts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program (Level I or II)
- Board-Certified through NDAEB
- Experience in a dental setting is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g. Dentrix, Cleardent) is an asset
