Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Superintendent to support our construction projects from start to finish. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction management experience who are eager to contribute to high-quality building initiatives. The Assistant Site Superintendent will work closely with the project team to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on-site, assisting in daily operations and project coordination.
Duties
- Assist the Site Superintendent in overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor construction progress and report on project milestones, issues, and potential delays.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and schematics.
- Assist in reviewing blueprints, schematics, and construction documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Support budgeting efforts by tracking material usage and labor hours, helping control project costs.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools for documentation and project tracking.
- Enforce safety regulations on-site and promote a culture of safety awareness among all workers.
- Participate in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve issues.
Skills
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Supervising experience within a construction environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation for projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.
- Construction experience across various project types is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
