Job Overview:
One of our client is looking for a reliable Cutter for their firm. The role involves cutting and preparing materials according to work orders and patterns to support the sewing department. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut materials according to work orders and specifications and patterns using knives, scissors, cutter, etc.
- Prepare and send materials to the sewing department on time
- Inspect materials for defects and maintain quality control
- Maintain inventory of fabrics and related materials
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
Requirements:
- Previous 1 -3 years of fabric cutting experience is required
- High school diploma is an asset but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and read basic work orders
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
