Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Moulding & Interior Finishing Picker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, staging, and preparing mouldings, trim, doors, interior finishing products, and related materials for customer orders and deliveries.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to safely handle building materials, and a commitment to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Locate, identify, and pull mouldings, trim, doors, interior finishing materials, and related products.
- Verify product quantities and specifications against order documentation.
- Package and stage orders for customer pickup or delivery.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (training provided if required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
- Work closely with warehouse, sales, and shipping teams to ensure order accuracy.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, lumberyard, building materials, or order-picking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mouldings, trim, doors, millwork, or interior finishing products is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required.
