Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to manage our front desk and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and employees. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our agency, offering administrative support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and presentable.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail.
- Coordinate, receive, sort and distribute supply orders.
- Maintaining supply inventory records
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Schedule meeting room bookings.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support (e.g., filing, copying, data entry).
- Troubleshooting office equipment issues
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security protocols.
- Monitoring staff presence in office
- Resume and report writing
- Liaising with community partners
- Understanding the services offered by the agency and other local resources
- Processing rent payments
- Interacting with clients and navigating requests
Requirements:
- Community college diploma or equivalent experience; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Certifications:
- ASIST training
- De-escalating potentially dangerous situations

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00 per hour
