Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry - Houseperson to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, do laundry and linen services, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are well-stocked with fresh linens. The ideal candidate will have hotel experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. Duties
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and laundry items efficiently
- Ensure all laundry is handled according to hotel standards and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas and storage spaces
- Assist with the delivery of clean linens and other items to guest rooms and public areas as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies, notifying management of shortages
- Support cleaning tasks around the hotel premises to uphold cleanliness standards
- Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or special laundry items
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or background in laundry and cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry loads safely; physical stamina required
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest service
Pay: $15.98-$16.10 per hour
