Housekeeping Laundry Public Area Cleaning Opportunities

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and service guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities
- Ensure rooms are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and housekeeping carts
Laundry Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and hotel laundry
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels of linens and report shortages or damages
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean and soiled linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
General Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service and respond promptly to requests
- Follow all health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Assist with inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent service
- Professional, reliable, and respectful in conduct
- Ability to commit to scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks
Skills & Abilities
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read, write, and understand workplace instructions
- Knowledge of hotel services and facilities is an asset
- Understanding of workplace safety and health regulations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
- Ability to work in confined spaces and move between floors efficiently
- Manual dexterity to operate cleaning and laundry equipment
- Continuous communication with guests and team members
