Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about outdoor work, possess a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance, and have experience operating various tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse landscaping projects, from garden design to construction and maintenance, contributing to the beautification of outdoor spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation and construction projects
- Install irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning for client landscapes
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, pruning, and other landscaping tasks
- Conduct gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining lawns
- Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, pathways, or patios
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery
- Follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators and other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant care
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or site travel purposes
