POSITION SUMMARY:
Sparkle Solutions is seeking an energetic, customer oriented, and Mechanically Inclined Person for a few local service calls per week in Edmonton & Surrounding areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service, maintain and/or install washers and dryers for coin/cards laundry machines.
- Efficiently troubleshooting mechanical repairs to washers, dryers, equipment
- Recognising and troubleshooting electrical and plumbing problems in laundry rooms.
- Effectively use company-provided device for routing, scheduling, inventory, and accurately recording customer visits
- Read electrical schematics, maps, GPS, and other routing systems
- Responsible for inventory of company provided parts and equipment on company provided vehicle;
- Effectively use company-provided device for routing, scheduling, inventory, and accurately recording customer visits;
- Understanding and strictly following all company processes and procedures;
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- At least one year experience in Appliance repairs (washer/dryer experience is a plus);
- Maneuvering and/or lifting of heavy equipment up to 75 lbs. required;
- Must hold a valid Alberta Class B Gas Fitter Certificate and possess experience servicing and repairing commercial gas-fired washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment.
- Must own and supply basic hand tools;
- Need excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Must be highly flexible, able to prioritise schedule, and work on multiple projects while still meeting deadlines;
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills a must
- High school diploma or equivalent and valid Driver's License with clean abstract.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
The top candidate(s) will be required to undergo a security screening check conducted by Sparkle Solutions Human Resources. The process involves a background investigation that includes Criminal record and other pre-employment reports including work references from previous employers, driving abstract verification etc.
