Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging activities, promoting social and emotional development, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and communicating well with families, staff and stakeholders.
Availability
Hours needed are between 730am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We are closed holidays at Christmas.
Qualifications
Applicants must love working children. Team work and valuing an inclusive philosophy when working with children is essential for this position.
Preference will be given to applicants with education, Alberta ECE certification of level 1 or higher and experience in this field. All applicants are required to have a criminal record check including vulnerable sector search and an intervention check before starting. First aid will be required, and can be supplied by employer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning environment.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere, ensuring compliance with the Alberta Early Learning Regulation and Act & Health Guidelines
- Manage program activities and maintain organization to facilitate effective learning experiences and using FLIGHT curriculum in all aspects of programming.

Pay: $19.39-$27.62 per hour
