Cowie Construction Ltd., a home renovation company serving Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley, is looking for a working site supervisor for a part-time contract position, three days per week (Monday–Wednesday). This is an immediate opportunity with potential to move to full-time as our workload grows.
This is a hands-on role — you’ll be running our renovation sites while also doing the carpentry work yourself. We need someone who can keep a job organized and moving, coordinate the day’s work, and pick up the tools and get it done. All tools and equipment are provided.
What you’ll do
- Run active renovation sites: plan the day, keep work on schedule, and make sure jobs stay on track
- Perform hands-on carpentry — framing, trim, finishing, hanging doors
- Demolition and site prep
- Coordinate trades and keep the site clean, safe, and organized
- Be the on-site point of contact and represent Cowie Construction professionally in clients’ homes
What we’re looking for
- Strong general carpentry skills — you can do the work, not just direct it
- Experience running or supervising renovation sites
- Able to work independently, problem-solve, and keep a job moving
- Professional appearance and strong communication (you’ll be in clients’ homes and dealing with clients directly)
- Reliable and organized
- Both experienced/semi-retired tradespeople and skilled carpenters ready to step into supervision are encouraged to apply
