Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time.
Duties
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding and alighting from the vehicle
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, adhering to scheduled appointments or customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, providing receipts when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Keep track of fares, routes, and passenger details as required for record-keeping purposes
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, attentive, and responsive to passenger needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven driving experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or taxi services is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers
- Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings as per company policies
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
