Knollcrest Lodge—a dedicated, non-profit long-term care home—is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a crucial role in shaping our future, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the organization’s ongoing success.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:
- Human Resources
- Legal
- Business Operations

Key Responsibilities of the Board of Directors:
- Governance and Oversight: Provide leadership and ensure effective oversight of Knollcrest Lodge’s legal, financial, programmatic, and operational functions.
- Sustainability and Credibility: Protect and enhance the organization’s sustainability, credibility, and its ability to fulfill its Mandate, Vision, Mission, and Philosophy.
- Strategic Direction: Set strategic priorities, establish clear outcomes, and regularly monitor progress toward achieving organizational goals.
- Budget Approval: Review and approve the annual budgets to ensure financial integrity and responsible stewardship of resources.
- Community and Partnership Engagement: Build and maintain strong collaborative linkages with aligned service sectors, partners, communities, and the public to support and extend Knollcrest Lodge’s mission.
- Commitment: attend monthly scheduled board meetings, virtual or in-person attendance is allowed. Requirement to attend 9 of 12 meetings a year.
