Acquisitions Manager, Real Estate (Remote)
About Us
We're a multi brand real estate investment company that buys properties directly from homeowners across Canada. Ontario and Alberta are our primary markets, but we operate nationally. Instead of listing houses on the open market, we work with sellers who need to sell quickly and without the hassle of repairs, showings, or agent commissions. These are often people going through difficult situations like divorce, foreclosure, inherited properties, job relocation, or homes that need too much work to list traditionally. We solve a real problem for them by offering a fast, straightforward, all cash sale.
The way our business works is simple. We invest heavily in marketing across multiple brands and channels, which generates a steady flow of inbound leads from homeowners who reach out to us directly. That means you are never cold calling strangers or chasing people who don't want to talk. Your job is to connect with sellers who have already raised their hand, understand their situation, and figure out whether we can help them and make a deal that works for everyone.
About the Role
As our Acquisitions Manager, you are the person on the front lines talking to sellers every day. You are the voice of our company and the first real human connection a homeowner has with us. This role is part salesperson, part problem solver, and part negotiator. You will spend most of your day on the phone building rapport, asking the right questions, running numbers, and working deals toward a signed contract.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and thrives on closing. You will be handling real conversations with real people who are often stressed and looking for a way out of a tough spot. Your ability to listen, build trust, and guide them toward a solution is what separates a good acquisitions person from a great one. We are looking for someone who can be both warm and persuasive, patient and driven.
What You'll Actually Be Doing Day to Day
You will start your day by working the fresh inbound leads that have come in. You will call sellers back quickly, because speed matters in this business, and the first person to build a real connection usually wins the deal. On each call you will work to understand the seller's motivation, why they are selling, how fast they need to move, the condition of the property, and what they are hoping to walk away with.
From there you will qualify the lead and score it based on how motivated the seller is and how workable the deal looks. You will pull comparable sales, estimate the value of the property, factor in any repairs needed, and land on an offer range that makes sense for both the seller and our company. Once you have your numbers, you will present the offer, handle objections, negotiate the terms, and work to get a signed purchase agreement.
After a deal is under contract, you will coordinate with our dispositions and administrative teams to keep everything moving toward closing. You will keep detailed notes and maintain accurate records in our CRM so that no lead ever falls through the cracks and every seller gets proper follow up. Follow up is a huge part of this role, because many deals do not close on the first call and the money is often in the follow up.
Throughout all of this you will stay sharp on our core markets, especially Ontario and Alberta, keeping up with local pricing, what is selling, and how the market is shifting so your offers stay competitive and accurate.
Compensation
The base salary for this role is $50,000 plus 5% commission on closed deals. Commission may grow up to 8% if your performance is there. This is a role with real earning potential, and the better you close, the more you make.
What You Bring
Required and non negotiable:
- Fluent, error free written and spoken English with no exceptions
- Your own laptop or computer, a good quality microphone, and reliable high speed Wi Fi, since equipment is not provided
- Self motivation and discipline, with the ability to run your own day without someone standing over you

- A genuine desire to talk to people and close deals
A plus but not required, since training is provided and prioritized:

- CRM experience, which is highly wanted but not required

This is a fully remote position. We are open to candidates outside our time zone, but you must communicate in clear, professional English with no errors. Because this role involves speaking with sellers directly, your working hours will need to line up with when sellers are available to talk.
