This is more than just a trade — it’s an opportunity to be part of a collaborative group that takes pride in building the tools that shape the future of manufacturing.
We’re looking for an experienced Mold Maker who can work independently or as part of a team to build complete tools from start to finish. You’ll bring hands-on technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to guide apprentices and support a safe, efficient build process.
- Spot, fit, and assemble various mold and die components based on customer specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform hands-on work with tool room equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, saws, and drill presses.
- Polish mold surfaces and ensure all components fit and function as required.
- Use hand, air, and power tools as needed to complete build and finishing tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and other shop equipment.
- Travel to customer sites as required to support mold trials or service.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on mold making experience.
- Ability to build complete molds with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in spotting, fitting, polishing, and final assembly of mold components.
- Familiar with operating manual toolroom machinery and precision measuring instruments.
- Reliable attendance, good communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
- Be part of a trusted tooling group focused on quality and craftsmanship.
- Work on a wide range of challenging and rewarding mold builds.
- Collaborate with experienced tradespeople and mentor apprentices.
- Supportive team culture with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.
